Movers of San Antonio moves offices, small businesses, and retail spaces across Greater San Antonio with the same crews, the same 26-foot trucks, and the same hourly rates as every move we do. Most of our work is residential, and business moves get the same straightforward deal: the same hourly rate, the same crews, and no separate commercial price list.
What a commercial move costs in San Antonio
Commercial moves are billed by the hour for two movers and a 26-foot truck: $120 an hour Monday through Thursday, $125 on Friday and Sunday, and $135 on Saturday, plus a one-time $69.95 trip fee. There is a 2-hour minimum and after the first two and a half hours we bill in 15-minute increments, rounded to the quarter hour. A third mover is $50 an hour. After-hours moves have no additional surcharge; the rate for your moving date applies, and there is no extra charge for stairs or multiple stops. If the move is more than 10 miles from our shop, drive time is billed at the same hourly rate. During Peak Week at the turn of each month, the two-mover-and-truck rate is $10 an hour higher. Full details are on our rates page.
What we move
- Desks, chairs, conference tables, filing cabinets, bookcases, and storage units
- Boxed files, supplies, and inventory
- Moves between two business locations in the San Antonio area
Tell us which office furniture and boxed items you need moved so we can confirm the job. We do not provide packing or storage, so your team boxes the files, supplies, and desk contents ahead of time, and we handle the loading, the drive, and the unloading. Label boxes by destination room to help unloading go smoothly. We also offer labor-only help (loading or unloading a truck you rented) and same-day moves when a crew is available; ask for the labor-only rate when you call.
Before moving day: check these with your building manager
- Freight elevator and loading dock. Ask whether the freight elevator and loading dock need to be reserved, and book them for the window we agree on. If the dock is not reserved and we have to wait, that time is on the clock.
- Move-in and move-out windows. Some buildings only allow moves in the evening or on weekends. Tell us your building's permitted moving hours so we can check availability; after-hours moves carry no surcharge.
- Proof of insurance. If your building requires a certificate of insurance, tell us when you book and we will provide one.
Where we move businesses
Downtown, the Pearl and Southtown, the Medical Center, Stone Oak and the 281 corridor, the Airport area and Northeast side, the Northwest side and UTSA, Alamo Heights, and the suburbs including Schertz, Cibolo, Boerne, and New Braunfels. Those are the same local areas we move homes in every week; call with both addresses and we will confirm coverage. We do not do interstate or long-distance moves; if your business is leaving the San Antonio area, we are not the right fit and we will tell you so.
